Born in London in the eighties, I spent most of my childhood making, creating, painting, sticking and drawing. Photography became a big love of mine but as the digital world came on strong, I felt more at home with illustration. I eventually pursued a degree in graphic design but have since felt a stronger urge to get my hands mucky and painty.
I spent over a decade working as an artist assistant before feeling comfortable to pursue my own art career. So here we are. This is me, finally selling my art, having listened to the encouragement from family and friends. Yay!

I take my inspiration from the natural world, possibly because I'm happiest when outside. I'm a laidback and loose kinda girl and I feel this translates directly into my oil paintings of animals. I enjoy using expressive marks and I've used skills learnt from working in a professional artist's studio to work with resin. I've also finally bitten the bullet and invested time and equipment into macro photography, fingers crossed I'll be updating the photography section regularly, going back to my roots and my very first love of creating pictures of the natural world.
